It all started with Grandpa, a farmer who needed a shop to keep his tractors dry and do a bit of maintenance and repair…
Then there was that rainy day when all the uncles needed something to do, so Grandpa got a carpenter’s pencil and drew a rectangle on the smooth concrete floor. This was going to be their hunting blind or clubhouse, depending on the season and the mood.
Years later, Dad helped to build the housing developments that were filling up the land that used to produce corn and soybeans and hay. Those days were filled with vinyl siding and decks, roofing and framing, and a little concrete for the front porch.
The old work van is gone by now, but the attention to detail still lives on, with doors, windows, cedar siding repairs, and bathroom upgrades.
