- You will need to take photos of any affected windows and submit these photos to Simonton(Cornerstone Building Products) for warranty or replacement parts. This is a system that must have all the areas filled out before they will reply to your request.
- You will need photos of the window showing the distance from the floor on the interior side, the distance from the ground on the exterior side, the bar code sticker on the side of each sash, and photos of any areas of concern. Also you will need to fill out a questionnaire for each affected window or sash, and wait for a reply.
- Once the replacement latches, seals, and spring balances have arrived, you will need to remove the damaged components and replace them with the new ones.
